Why Is New Balance 990v6 Much Cheaper in Nigeria?
The 42% price gap between South Korea and Nigeria for New Balance 990v6 comes down to several factors. Currency exchange rates play a major role — the NGN and KRW have different purchasing power, which directly affects how prices translate to USD. Beyond exchange rates, differences in local taxes (VAT, import duties, excise taxes), distribution costs, and market competition all contribute.
A $79.60 difference per unit can add up quickly for bulk purchases or for travelers deciding where to buy. However, keep in mind that prices fluctuate with exchange rates and local promotions. Some prices shown are algorithmic estimates. This comparison was last updated in 2026.
